What is Pipe Scouring ?
Pipe / Air Scouring of water mains is an extremely effective 'non-aggressive' way of cleaning and removing particulate matter from the water mains that bring safe water home to us. From 75mm diameter to 300mm diameter, with typical cleaning lengths ranging from 100 to 1000 metres.
Air scouring works by using a high pressure volume of water at high velocity focused on individual parts and sections of the water main. The forced watrerv carries the dirt at HIGH PRESSURE which is released back into the ground at "Scour Valves" carrying sediments and build up back to nature
